host family or hotel accommodation. Fees for intensive

If you prefer to
stay in a hotel, we can recommend a range of hotels in
different price bands.
Host
Family Accommodation
Staying with a host family on the
KSE register gives the teacher extra opportunities to speak
English outside the school and to get to know more about
day-to-day life in England. All KSE host families sign a
contract to show that they have fully understood the schools'
requirements. All host families are within easy reach of
the school.
With a family you will have:

done and towels provided
Teachers whose first language is not English will
be placed with families where they are the only speaker
of their first language.
Lunches for Teachers Staying
with Host Families
Lunch from Monday to Friday is not included in the course
fees, but there are many pubs, cafes and restaurants within
easy reach of the school.
Group Co-ordinators may find the
KSE lunch voucher scheme useful. KSE vouchers can be used
in many places in the town. Group Co-ordinators can order
the vouchers needed when returning the group registration
form or on arrival in Broadstairs. The cost of the vouchers
is then added to the total course fees.
If a course is longer than one week,
teachers receive weekend lunches at home with the host family
or a packed lunch on day trips.
