The KSE Intensive English Week

This is a popular course we have been offering for nearly 30 years.

The format of the week is very flexible and will vary from school to school (or training centre to training centre) according to the size and type, but a typical scenario might be:

•
 The KSE teacher spends each day in the school in whatever capacity the school feels most appropriate. Generally this means substituting for teachers in a variety of classes (usually with the teacher observing). We would then offer to do the following:
•

improve students' phonological performance - stress, pronunciation, intonation
•
 get students to communicate naturally by using a range of interactive exercises
•
 increase students' active use of areas of vocabulary relevant to them

 

 

•
 One day in the week is usually concluded with a workshop on an aspect of methodology or language practice for the teachers in the English department.

Group Courses
At the KSE we have specialised in organising short courses for groups, combining high-quality language teaching, accommodation and a full programme of activities and trips since 1972.
